ATHLETISSIMA
Athletissima, now a fixture of Lausanne’s summer season, was first held on July 8, 1977 at the Stade Pierre-de-Coubertin under the impetus of former 800m runner Jacky Delapierre. Over the years, it has become a renowned international meeting, attracting the biggest stars in athletics to the Olympic capital. Now based at the Pontaise Olympic Stadium, Athletissima has been part of the Wanda Diamond League circuit since 2010, making it one of the most prestigious track and field meetings in the world.

Lausanne Sport Athlétisme
Founded in 1904, Lausanne-Sports Athlétisme (LSA) is one of Switzerland’s most prestigious athletics clubs. A club which, over the years, has seen its membership and the quality of its athletes’ performances grow steadily. The club has over 350 members, the majority of whom are young schoolchildren (aged 8 to 13) and cadets (aged 14 to 17) who train two to four times a week respectively, under the guidance of top-quality coaches. Today, the club stands out in the world of sports in Switzerland, the French-speaking part of the country, the Vaud region and, above all, Lausanne, by upholding unique values such as passion, friendship, youth, training and performance.

On Track is a Swiss-based training center offering specialized coaching programs to improve physical performance and athletic preparation.
